September 6, 2007
September 6, 2007 - Boston Capital is proud to congratulate Bob Moss, the
2007 recipient of The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)'s
Daniel B. Grady Memorial Award, in recognition of his commitment to
affordable rental housing for the past 22 years. NAHB recently presented
the award to Moss at a dinner held in conjunction with its Fall Board of
Directors Meeting in Seattle, WA.
"This award recognizes Bob's strong voice and commitment on behalf of the LIHTC, " said Jack
Manning, president and CEO of Boston Capital. "Boston Capital is proud to join NAHB in
congratulating Bob for his dedication to the affordable multifamily housing industry."
Moss serves as senior vice president and director of origination at Boston Capital. Since joining
the company in 1993, he has originated more than $1 billion in tax credit equity and debt. He is
responsible for state agency relationships, policy development, developer opportunities and
applications as well as directing the Origination Department effort nationally.
Like Daniel B. Grady, Moss has been extremely active in NAHB, serving on the association's
legislative affairs committee and the steering committee of the Housing Credit Group, which
specifically works to promote and protect the LIHTC program. He also has served as a
consultant to developers, non-profit organizations and government agencies on how best to use
programs such as the LIHTC program. Moss serves on the boards for the New York State
Association for Affordable Housing, the National Leased Housing Association, the Florida
Coalition of Affordable Housing Providers, the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association,
the Illinois Housing Council and the Michigan Housing Council (as advisor). He also serves on
the advisory boards for more than 20 state agencies responsible for allocating housing tax
credits.
