V.P., Assistant Director of Special Assets- Dispositions
Responsible for overseeing a portfolio of under-performing assets, developing work-out strategies and reporting progress toward resolution;
- Develop and implement strategies for resolving problems with under-performing assets.
- Negotiate financial restructuring of specific assets.
- Negotiate settlement agreements with General Partners.
- Research compliance with Partnership Agreement obligations of General Partners and Boston Capital.
- Provide written and oral presentations to senior management, Special Assets Committee, investors, and lenders as to issues and progress toward resolution of work-out plans.
- Supervise consultants assigned to specific special assets.
- Review or write, as applicable, special assets business plans.
- Prepare annual funding recommendations.
- Review Budgets and financial reporting for conformance to business plans.
- Review monthly reporting package
- Review quarterly reports to investors, Corporate and Public
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years experience with real estate debt restructure or multi-family asset management.
- Must have a BS/BA degree, excellent financial, analytical, communication and organizational skills.
- Multi-family Real Estate and Tax Credit experience desirable.

Senior LIHTC Compliance Specialist - Taxation and Housing Compliance
The Senior LIHTC Compliance Specialist will be responsible for auditing resident files to ensure compliance during both the initial qualification process as well as throughout the credit period as required and regulated under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code.
This full time in house position, will work closely with Boston Capital's Investors, State Agencies and General Partners and/or their management companies.
Candidates must have solid experience in property management, asset management or with a housing regulatory agency. Candidates must also possess knowledge of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program as well as other affordable housing programs. In addition, candidates must hold a certification in one or more of the following: Housing Certified Credit Professional (HCCP), Spectrum C3P certification or National Compliance Professional (NCP). The position requires excellent organizational skills along with strong computer, verbal and written skills.

Senior Agile Java Developer- Information Technology
As a Senior Agile Java Developer you will:
- Create complex software solutions
- Use Object Oriented languages - Java/J2EE and Ruby on Rails (Experience with Rails isn't required)
- Work with highly analytical, experienced agile programmers
- Code in a Test Driven Development, Paired Programming environment
- Constantly learn and implement the latest Agile practices

- Interact directly with business users to gather and analyze business requirements

We are looking for you if you have:
- 5+ years experience with Object Oriented languages (Java/J2EE, Ruby/Rails, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and continuous integration
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, other)

Other Qualifications include:
- Working knowledge of Extreme Programming/Agile is preferred

Acquisitions Analyst - Acquisitions
The Acquisitions Analyst will work with the senior members of the Acquisitions staff to complete all initial financial analysis required to identify affordable housing acquisition opportunities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the production of acquisition summaries, assist in the initial inspection and analysis of submittal packages, assist in the assembling and production of data for the debt and LIHTC applications, compile data for syndicator due diligence and marketing requests, assist in the assembling and production of required closing documents, aid in obtaining documents relating to property and title insurance, surveys, reports, mortgages, legal opinions, contracts and regulatory agreements, and implement and monitor financial analysis and data management.
The position requires a four year college degree with a major/emphasis in finance or accounting. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in real estate and financial analysis and have strong analytical and computer skills. Specifically, a strong background in Microsoft Excel is required.
