LIHTC Compliance Analyst - Housing Compliance
The LIHTC Compliance Analyst will be responsible for auditing resident files to ensure compliance during both the initial qualification process as well as throughout the credit period as required and regulated under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. The analyst will also work closely with State Agencies and General Partners and/or their management companies.
Candidates must possess knowledge of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program as well as other affordable housing programs. Candidates must also have solid experience in property management, asset management or with a housing regulatory agency. A certification in one or more of the following is preferred: Housing Certified Credit Professional (HCCP), Spectrum C3P certification or National Compliance Professional (NCP). The position requires excellent organizational skills along with strong computer, verbal and written skills.

IT Business Analyst - Information Technology
As a Business Analyst at Boston Capital you will be engaged in all facets of our IT projects including requirements analysis, testing, application documentation, and ongoing application support. You will work directly with business sponsors, users, project managers, and developers. Your primary focus will be to support our enterprise document management system but you will also be involved in most other software application projects. We are a small company so you should be comfortable working in a constantly changing environment that will require you to play many roles across disciplines. This position has high visibility in the company and your contributions will directly impact the business. One to five years of experience is desired.
As a Business Analyst you will:
- Understand and document business requirements (FIT Tests, Use Cases, etc)
- Create and maintain technical and end-user support documentation on wiki
- Review business requirements documentation with business stakeholders
- Assist in software application testing
- Investigate and resolve production and non-production issues
- Support Crystal Reports
- Participate in the analysis and evaluation of new technology, strategy, etc.
- Assist IT Project Manager and Director of IT with various tasks as needed

Investment Analyst - Asset Management
This position will support a team of Asset Managers in managing a portfolio of multi-family real estate partnerships to preserve the value of Investor Equity and the stream of benefits associated with that Investment.
Job responsibilities include:
- Analyzing annual audited financial statements to evaluate operational performance.
- Reviewing site visit reports and following up with General Partners and Management Companies on issues.
- Evaluating requests for the release of equity by reviewing Partnership Agreements and other partnership documents to determine if required benchmarks such as Tax Credit allocation, construction completion, stabilized occupancy, and break-even operations have been met.
- Monitoring construction progress through the review of monthly construction draw requests.
Candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience or internship in a similar work environment of a least one year
- Real estate experience preferred

Portfolio Analyst - Portfolio Management
Responsibilities include:
- Provide analytical support to the Portfolio Management Team
- Conducting fund level and property level analysis to evaluate portfolio performance
- Generate reports to internal and external clients on property and fund performance (monthly, quarterly and annual reports)
- Preparing documentation for the funds credit facilities, including borrowing and collateral release requests, loan paydowns and required reports
- Upload reports and documents to investors website and document management systems
- Coordinating with Asset Management, Corporate Investments, Acquisitions, Accounting and Tax Departments to fulfill investor ad hoc requests and prepare due diligence information
- Assisting Portfolio Managers in:
- reviewing investor K-1s
- preparing residual analyses for each fund
- researching property and/or portfolio issues for investors
- preparing tax credit and loss projections
Candidate must have:
- BS / BA degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in real estate financial statement analysis and spreadsheet modeling
- Excellent analytical abilities and strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Crystal Report writing a plus but not required
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-family real estate experience preferred
