  • Staff Accountant - Finance and Accounting

    General responsibilities include maintaining public, private and corporate partnership general ledgers, monthly reconciliation of bank statements, daily wire transfers and maintenance of all sub-schedules related to entities and their general ledgers.

  • Acquisitions Associate - Acquisitions

    Responsibilities include but not limited to negotiating tax syndication contracts and partnership agreements with general partners, oversee and review preparation for due diligence reports, operating expense analysis, review of architectural and engineering programs and analysis of general partner track record and financial strength, oversee closing of legal documents and release of funds to general partners, manage developer relationships, oversee the progress of deal flows and make presentations and obtain investment committee approval for investments.

    Position requires a degree in finance or its equivalent. Must have five years experience in real estate acquisitions, preferably some years of which have been with a tax credit syndicator. Must have strong analytical, communication and computer skills.

  • Asset Manager - Asset Management

    The Asset Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-family real estate partnerships to preserve the value of Investor Equity and the stream of benefits associated with that Investment; develop and maintain strong relations with lender representatives, management agents, local officials, and general Partners in a portfolio; manage reposition situations which include refinancing, general partner substitution, legal action, partnership restructuring, recapitalization, as well as Section 42 non-compliance issues; conduct site visit evaluations; analyze annual audited financial statements; review and monitor quarterly operational reports and evaluate Partnership performance through pre-established benchmarks.

    Minimum of 2 years experience in asset management and property financial analysis. Must have a BS / BA degree, excellent analytical skills, be highly organized, and have strong computer, verbal and written skills. Real Estate experience is required.

  • Senior Portfolio Analyst - Asset Management

    Responsibilities include:

    • Conducting fund-level analysis to evaluate portfolio performance
    • Preparing reports to corporate investors on property and fund performance (monthly, quarterly and annual reports)
    • Review asset management reports for distribution to investors
    • Preparing documents and paperwork for the funds' credit facilities, including borrowing requests, collateral release requests, loan pay downs and required reports
    • Upload reports and documents to investors' websites and document management systems
    • Coordinating with Asset Management, Corporate Investments, Acquisitions, Accounting and Tax departments to fulfill miscellaneous investor requests
    • Assisting portfolio managers in:
      • reviewing investor tax returns
      • preparing residual analyses for each fund
      • researching property and/or portfolio issues for investors

    Candidate must have:

    • BS / BA degree
    • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in asset management, including real estate financial statement analysis
    • Excellent analytical abilities, and strong computer (especially Excel and Access) skills
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
    • Excellent verbal and written skills.
    • Multi-family real estate and/or tax credit experience preferred.

  • Financial Analyst - Structured Finance

    Job Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with the pricing and analysis of affordable and market-rate multifamily and storage facility real estate transactions, from originations to closing.
    • Pool transactions to create portfolios based on specific market and investor guidelines.
    • Monitor portfolios and analyze changes during offering period.
    • Prepare investor benefit schedules.
    • Track partnership admissions and coordinate legal transfers.
    • Manage fund level cash needs obligations and payments on a quarterly basis for corporate funds during offering period.
    • Interact closely with in-house Acquisitions departments.

    Minimum of 3 years experience in real estate/financial analysis. Must have a BS / BA degree, excellent analytical skills, be highly organized, and have very strong computer (excel) skills. Multifamily real estate and/or tax credit experience preferred.

  • Investment Analyst - Asset Management

    Job Responsibilities include:

    • Analyzing annual audited financial statements to evaluate operational performance.
    • Reviewing site visit reports and following up with General Partners and Management Companies on issues.
    • Evaluating requests for the release of equity by reviewing Partnership Agreements and other partnership documents to determine if required benchmarks such as Tax Credit allocation, construction completion, stabilized occupancy, and break-even operations have been met.
    • Monitoring construction progress through the review of monthly construction draw requests.

    Candidate must have:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Experience or internship in a similar work environment a plus.
    • Real estate experience preferred
