Senior Agile Java Developer - Information Technology
Lexington Solutions® (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boston Capital) is looking for a Java developer who has played a leadership role, preferably in agile development teams, and has experience collaboratively defining strategic technical direction of a software product. We have fostered a collaborative, open space environment with a group of talented individuals who are all passionate about agile and building quality software. Fusion™, our flagship asset management product is setting the standard for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit industry.
As a Senior Agile Developer you will:
- Develop code primarily in Java
- Create complex software solutions
- Work with highly analytical and experienced agile programmers
- Code in a Paired Programming and Test Driven Development environment
- Constantly learn and implement the latest Agile practices such as Kanban, Kaizen
- Use open source tools including Webwork, PicoContainer, Hibernate, JBehave, Groovy, GWT, Apache Tomcat, FIT, JUnit, Velocity, Subversion and more
- Lead and mentor junior developers
- Interact directly with business users to gather and analyze business requirements
- Be involved in all facets of software development from design to implementation
- Work directly with product stakeholders and executives to set technical strategy
- Create quality software that truly delivers business value
- Work in a culture that values and encourages a healthy work-life balance
We are looking for you if you have:
- 5+ years of Object Oriented programming experience
- Extensive knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and continuous integration
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Extreme Programming (XP), Scrum, other)
- A true passion for coding
- The desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- The ability to inspire and mentor others to create great code
Other qualifications include:
- Working knowledge of Extreme Programming/Agile is preferred
- Working knowledge of Test Driven Development is preferred
- Software product development experience is preferred

Asset Manager – Asset Management
The Asset Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-family real estate partnerships to preserve the value of Investor Equity and the stream of benefits associated with that Investment; develop and maintain strong relations with lender representatives, management agents, local officials, and general partners in a portfolio; manage reposition situations which include refinancing, general partner substitution, legal action, partnership restructuring, recapitalization, as well as Section 42 non-compliance issues; conduct site visit evaluations; analyze annual audited financial statements; review and monitor quarterly operational reports and evaluate Partnership performance through pre-established benchmarks.
Minimum of 3 years experience in asset management and property financial analysis. Must have a BS / BA degree, excellent analytical skills, be highly organized, and have strong computer, verbal and written skills. Real Estate and experience is required.

Investment Analyst – Asset Management
The Investment Analyst will support a team of Asset Managers in managing a portfolio of multi-family real estate partnerships to preserve the value of Investor Equity and the stream of benefits associated with that Investment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing annual audited financial statements to evaluate operational performance.
- Reviewing site visit reports and following up with General Partners and Management Companies on issues.
- Evaluating requests for the release of equity by reviewing Partnership Agreements and other partnership documents to determine if required benchmarks such as Tax Credit allocation, construction completion, stabilized occupancy, and break-even operations have been met.
- Monitoring construction progress through the review of monthly construction draw requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience or internship in a similar work environment of a least one year.
- Real estate experience preferred.

Portfolio Manager – Portfolio Management
Responsibilities:
- Interact closely with other departments, such as Asset Management, Acquisitions, Accounting and Tax, to fulfill investor requests.
- Manage the performance of funds, including maintaining investor yields.
- Analyze the impact of property performance, credit delivery and/or sale of assets on fund performance to maximize investor benefits.
- Manage fund’s cash sources and uses.
- Monitor the delivery of benefits (credits and losses) to the investors and report on variances from original projections.
- Review and approve requests from the lower tier partnerships based on their impact on Fund and investor consent requirements.
- Review investor tax returns.
- Prepare and review reports to corporate investors on property and portfolio performance.
- Research tax, accounting and property issues for investors.
- Work with accounting to monitor fund reserve balances.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors post-closing.
- Participate in investor due diligence meetings and investor portfolio reviews.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or portfolio management, including real estate financial analysis
- BS / BA degree (Master’s degree a plus), in Real Estate Development, Business Administration, or Finance
- Excellent analytical skills, strong compute skills (specifically with Excel)
- Highly organized, and detail-oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills are essential
- Multi-family real estate and/or tax credit experience preferred
